   “Terem – Khan Krum” Ltd. – Targovishte has a 45 years history:

*The building of the plant stars at 1962.

*First manufacturing duties are put into operation at 1965.

*The inauguration as a specialized plant of the Ministry of Defense for overhaul of the armor military machines is at 10.11.1966.

*До 1997 г. завода е известен под името ВРЗ “Хан Крум” – Търговище.

    During 1966-1989 the development of the plant is related with the conception for armament and military techniques of BA and their overhaul at peacetime and wartime conditions. Simultaneously with the acquire of the new generation armor military machines overhaul, there is fulfilled an intensive and on a large-scale investment activity.  From an overhaul specialized the plant converts into machine building with manufacturing duties developed at a modern technological level:

*Forge-pressing;

*Tools;

*Machine tools based on machines and process centers with DPC /subsequently Flexible Automatic Manufacture System FAMS/ for gear boxes production, reduction gears and transmissions;

*For diagnostic, assembly and testament with modernization of ATE
/ subsequently for MT-LB manufacturing and its modifications/, as a development and improvement on a technological base for overhaul of ATE.

 

   At the end of the 80^th years of 20 century the plant is formed with a product profile, a large technological potential, unfolded infrastructure and highly skilled engineering and working staff. The plant strengthened its position as one of the leading machine-building factories of the state and MIC. Simultaneously at the hand is an international admission of the plant potential and product.

Since 1998 with the injunction of the Council of ministers of R. Bulgaria, the plant is branch of the Ministry of Defense PLC –“Terem” PLC. The title “Terem” PLC - branch Targovishte is entered in the Trade register.

Since 2004 was rename of “TEREM-Khan Krum” Ltd. and entered in the Trade register.
